It probably won't come as much of a surprise when I say that Brighton Silver is located in Brighton. Being the most recent addition to the team I'm also probably the newest to the city out of everyone here. My original reason for moving here was music. Brighton has a very vibrant and lively music scene, which as someone from a very dull area was exceedingly appealing.

I'm in a band (or few), and so is fellow Brighton Silver legend Jules. The rest of my band already lived here and I was coming to visit regularly to play, rehearse, and watch live music anyway, so it was only a matter of time until I cut out the train journeys and came over myself. I was ready for the constant stream of gigs and shows, so of course I managed to land here just in time for the first COVID lockdown. My prospects were suddenly a lot more gigless.
It was just after the first lockdown lifted that I became a part of the Brighton Silver team, and it's been really great working here since. As things (hopefully) continue going back to normal, the gigs have finally started to come back in force and my original reason for being here is slowly becoming fulfilled. Working at Brighton Silver is a happy addition to the reasons I live here.
